Annual Christmas Tree Recycling

Annual Tree Chipping Fund Raiser

When Christmas is over, bring your family Christmas tree for recycling, and support Camp Prime Time while you’re doing it. Chips are available for sale at the chipping site.

2011/12 Tree Recycling dates – December 26, 2011 to January 8, 2012 - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Just remove all the ornaments from your tree and bring it down to Barnett Implement in Yakima at 3110 Fruitvale Blvd.

Financial donations are also accepted to benefit Camp Prime Time. Volunteers may contact the Camp Prime Time office at (509) 248-2854.

This service is provided by volunteers for Camp Prime Time, Vermeer Company, Barnett Implement, Pacific Power, Trees Inc., R.S. Excavating, Cliff's Septic, City of Yakima and Yakima County Public Services, Solid Waste Division.

 

 



25 for $25 Campaign

Participate in our 25th Anniversary campaign and help us raise money for Camp Prime Time.  It’s easy.  Get 25 people to donate $25 and your name will go in for a drawing.  Winners will be chosen February 1.  Celebrate with us – 25 years of providing an outdoor recreational camping experience for families with children who are seriously ill or disabled – all at no cost to them.

Leftover Turkey Trot

2nd Annual Leftover Turkey Trot – Saturday, November 26, 2011 - Walk/Run begins at 10:00am

Registration 9:00 - 9:45 am at the Yakima Greenway Office in Sarg Hubbard Park.

Cost is $20/adults and $7/children (10 and under) T-shirt is included in registration cost.

Come and walk or run this 5K. Work off the huge meal you ate on Thanksgiving and help raise money for Camp Prime Time at Yakima Greenway. Proceeds go to support Camp Prime Time and the Yakima Greenway.

This is a non-sanctioned walk/run

There's cleaning, scrubbing, mopping, window washing, wood cutting, raking, leaf blowing, bleaching, organizing, painting, moving, repairing, digging, laughing, eating ... AND SO MUCH MORE. You won't want to miss out. Plan to bring your own tools, brooms, shovels, rakes, work gloves, anything you think you might need to get a job done.
